Position Summary:

Do you have a deep interest and passion for the exciting world of content marketing? This important new role on our Creative Services team will get to work with seasoned SEO experts, innovative creatives and build a content engine that fuels audience growth and engagement,

The Associate Content Marketing Analyst is a part of the Brand Creative Servies Team and will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of Resource Hub content on the Connections Academy website. This person will manage the production workflow from content ideation and development through to implementation on the website. This person will work collaboratively across various teams to ensure effective and timely delivery of content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content marketing and project management, including a dedication to content quality and adhering to brand standards.

The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, some copy-editing experience, and strong familiarity with content development and search engine optimization. This person should have a dedication to excellence and be able to simultaneously manage projects in a busy and changing digital environment. The Associate Content Marketing Analyst will also be expected to contribute ideas to the overall content strategy. This person will play a key role in our efforts to educate and engage prospective Connections Academy families.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists manager in the development and maintenance of the Resource Hub editorial calendar

  • Manges the creation of digital content through the creative workflow from assignment through to posting

  • Develops and maintains processes to keep content development projects running smoothly and ensure deadlines are met

  • Collaborates with web, brand and creative teams to prioritize, organize and outline process improvement opportunities

  • Light copywriting, copyediting and proofreading of content for Resource Hub stories, infographics, videos, and content written by subject-matter experts within organization

  • Contributes to the development of Resource Hub content strategy, as well as the creation and quality of content deliverables

  • Ideate Resource Hub topics and source foundational and supporting content and brand-safe links as-needed

  • Generates content outlines for freelance writers and interviews internal partners and currently enrolled families

  • Supervise freelance writers to execute against content outlines

  • Identifies content to repurpose to fit within the content calendar

  • Ensure all work is consistent with the established brand guidelines and in brand voice and tone

  • Collaborate with the competitive intelligence team to execute competitive analysis of other sites and determine if the results should drive content changes

  • Collaborates with social media team for content promotion and monitors social media and digital content industry trends to stay on top of latest data

  • Work with web team to ensure content is relevant, up-to-date and optimized for SEO

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism or related field

  • 2-3 years of experience in project management, content production or content creation for online experiences, website, and other digital media

  • Knowledge of and experience with crafting content for SEO

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business-critical needs

  • Some supervisory experience with freelance writers or content creators

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to handle situations with diplomacy and a professional demeanor at all times.

  • Self-starter and is detail-oriented in execution of daily tasks.

  • Understanding of/interest in current and future digital trends across platforms

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, service orientation,

  • Understands brand, tone, and audience of the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid background in SEO and SEM principles and methodologies

  • Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity of search engine optimized sites that rank high on major search engines for relevant keywords

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media /social media

  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work across functions

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $50,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
